Medical C.A.R.E., Inc., is committed to providing quality medical care for Children of All Races Everywhere through sustainable programs that transfer medical knowledge and technology to local pediatric medical groups and practitioners. The organization believes that delivering medicine and vaccinations to underprivileged children is not enough. They embarked on missions that provides proper training, tools, and techniques to local doctors and nurses, which in effect, makes better use of the resources available and improves the quality of health care for their children and their children’s children.

Dr. Olajire Idowu, M.D., one of the founders of Medical C.A.R.E., Inc. and the Chief of Pediatric Surgery at Children’s Hospital and Research Center in Oakland, California is quoted as saying:

The United States has a world reputation as a leader in medicine, and we formed Medical C.A.R.E., Inc. as a means to share some of that expertise with peoples who desperately need the same skills and techniques. This latest mission to Ogbomoso, Nigeria will give us an opportunity to share our experience and train doctors and nurses who don’t have access to the same educational resources we have here in the U.S. Our objective is to serve as medical ambassadors and social entrepreneurs, providing the tools and training as well as practical support so medical facilities in emerging nations can create sustainable programs to reduce the mortality rates of children everywhere.
